Once Upon a Time & Happily Ever After Again

  Sweet potatoes, welcome!!  A check of the calendar shows that it is the second Thursday (already??) of this shiny new month.  Feels like we were just here together for last month's edition of the Global Writing Challenge.  If you missed that post, we were tasked with writing about poetry .  I felt sure I had almost nothing to say about that topic until I started writing.  It is often that way with the best prompts!!  They make me think instead of instantly reacting and writing to whatever first pops into my head. This month we've been invited to tell about birthdays.   I momentarily drew a blank at this one.  Yes, I have had my fair share of birthdays (thank You, God) but none of them have been especially extraordinary.  And then I thought of the word in a different light.  Birth-days.   Like that (snaps fingers), I knew what to share.
